Purpose
Arionex RO unit is designed for desalination of sea water or removing salts from brakish water. The unit operation is based on reverse osmosis or nanofiltration principles.

Spiral wound elements of reverse osmosis are used. System is intended to reduce/eliminate the salts from the water. The pressurized water is applied to the semipermeable membrane, which allows water molecules to pass membrane and reject more concentrated stream containing salts.Quality of supplied water | Surface (treated with ultrafiltration membranes or other method), municipal, deep waters – without iron, manganese hardness ions (or treated with reagents) |

Nanofiltration
Spiral wound elements of nanofiltration are used. System is intended to reduce water hardness, sulfates, organics (color) and radionuclides. As a result there are two streams obtained during process – water with low hardness, sulfates, organics as purified water and reject water stream with higher concentration of these species.Quality of supplied water | Surface (processed with ultrafiltration diaphragms), municipal, deep waters – without iron, manganese hardness ions (or treated with reagents) |
